About N&H

We met drag racing one night through the streets of Guelph, ON. Although it seems random, it is kind of ridiculous that us meeting didn't happen sooner. With weird connections like our sisters being friends, our parents sharing best buddies, and more, it sort of seemed like the Universe was simply fed up with us and forced an unnatural meeting. 
We are very grateful for this of course and have now been together since grade 12, seeking adventure after adventure ever since! 

We have both graduated from the Faculty of the Environment at the University of Waterloo (N-Geography and Environmental Management, H-International Development). In addition to completing our undergraduate degrees, some of our adventures include tree-planting in Nova Scotia for 2 summers, and spending 10 months apart as we travelled Botswana (H) and Australia (N) separately (and a bit together as well!).

Although we have so graciously received the nick-name "The Bickersons" from our friends and family, we work well with one another, especially when we are put under pressure. We may argue a lot but we both agree that communication is key!
We both love the environment, watching movies, eating all types of food, rollerblading and travelling.

Prior to our grand adventure Nick was a home energy auditor, and Heather an organic farm manager. Yes we loved our jobs, however we decided we were not ready to settle into any sort of routine just yet! We left our jobs and the comfort of our little home and have set off on our grand journey. Starting in Whistler, British Columbia we hope to work and travel the world for the next several years.
